Guessing Game Effectiveness for Improving Student Speaking Skill in Elementary School

English speaking skills are very important because Game is Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) which will create an atmosphere that increase students' desire to learn languages. However, there assumption learning with games makes students undisciplined and difficult do it requires a long time many teachers. This study aims determine the effect of using guessing game method on elementary school students. research one-group pre-test post-test design was implemented at Islamic Elementary School in Yogyakarta. The sample consisted 68 grade 6 2019. sampling technique used total sampling. conducted by classroom action intervention form for 3 months two cycles. measured outcomes pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, fluency, understanding. assessment carried out before after intervention. data were processed Wilcoxon test. results showed improved going through process games. have significantly vocabulary fluency. Grammar comprehension but not significantly. conclusion can improve even though has covered all its aspects
